Items Gained (On Quests/Room Storylines/Events and such):
Appearance: Appearing 18 years old, at most, with a small stature (85lbs/45kg - 5'1"/1.5m) and rather frail. Auburn hair flows in large curls to her waist. Her right eye is green, left is blue, and set in pale features that while decently attractive, are nothing to oogle over. Her shoulders are a bit lopsided, from a twisted spine that also gives her a vague limp.
Personality profile:
Despite her small size, there's lots of "spirit" in her. While being quite mature and responsible when she needs to be, she can also seem very child-like...especially when either her imagination or curiosity (or both) get the better of her. Outwardly, she's rather cheerful, and sometimes blatantly opinionated. Rarely loses her temper (at least in public) and almost never raises her voice...usually just pouts when upset. A soft heart, and is always willing to be a shoulder to cry on. While not being overly sociable, she is very open-minded, and accepts most people no matter what their appearance and/or status.
Inwardly, however, quite skeptical about situations, having just enough sense to not throw all caution to the wind...after all, if she doesn't survive one situation of investigating something, she won't get to explore whatever else gets her curiosity riled, later on! Whatever information she gets, is usually kept to herself...secrets aren't very secret, if they're "advertised".
Because she doesn't go out much, she doesn't have too much real-life experience to use as knowledge, and is mostly 'book smart'. She's taken a great interest in animals, linking her hobby of psychology with them - and formulates her own theories (though doesn't dismiss the already documented ones) on how and why they act the way they do...also comparing it with other types of creatures. She's obsessed with anything mythological and supernatural, having studied all her life about them. She thinks humans are, to an extent, inferior beings (even if she is one herself)...though will let individuals redeem that 'fact' based on how they act with her.
She has claimed to be celibate, though a relationship with the right person would be nice. But they'd have to be just right.
Biography:
Born with a deformed and weak heart, she had several surgeries within the first couple years of life that basically helped...but didn't fix anything. Grew up in a home where the father went to work for the typical 9-5 job, and her mother stayed home and tended the children. Her mother, however, was rather strict and demanding to the point of mildly absuive, so Raziqa became rather submissive in nature. She still keeps a quiet, but oddly optimistic demeanor...sometimes she can be blatantly opinionated, but never in a disrespectful way, and is perfectly willing to accept the fact that people may not agree with her views (because she realizes most of hers are kind of odd, anyway).
Her father was much more lenient. As long as she got her homework finished, was home in time for a decent amount of sleep, and didn't do anything illegal, he basically let her do whatever she wantd. This earned respect, and she's very close to him.
School was relatively easy, at least academically. Partly because her parents had divorced, and her mother moved away so she had more freedom in life... plus, insatiable curiosity is what kept her studying almost constantly - almost no time was spent socializing, and she was deemed somewhat of a nerd. Most of her classes, besides the mandatory ones, were biology and psychology. After graduating high scool, she got a regular job...always having loved animals, she became a dog bather at the local pet shop...however, due to a rambunctious puppy and a misunderstanding with a co-worker, she resigned after being accused of abusing the dog.
Along with having severe scoliosis, that got a bit painful at times, she decided to persue a nice desk job. Working in an accounting department while going to a technical college, she got her webpage design certificate. However, her health declined and she had to quit school and eventually got laid off at the job after two years. Reluctantly, she applied for government aid, and settled in at home with her father who was now elderly. Having nothing to do on a regular basis, she took up the hobby of fishing.
One day, on a trip to investigate a new place to sport, she got lost...really lost. Hiking through the woods, she meandered too far from the lake. A fog seemed to blame, so she decided to settle and eat lunch, and wait. By nightfall, the fog hadn't cleared. There was no signal on her cell phone, so she got into survival mode and stayed put if a search was put out for her. Luckily it was summer, so she wasn't too cold, as she fell asleep under a tree.
When she awoke the next morning, she was shocked... all her belongings, except her clothes, were gone. Even her shoes were missing! Against better judgement she started a trek back the opposite way she had gone the day before. Not having a GPS, she used the old fashioned way...using the sun's position as guidance. By the time the sun had set again, and she had no real directional hints anymore, she figured she should've been back to the lake by now.
Off in the distance, she saw lights...a small row of square ones. A building! So she headed that way. It was rather rustic, and reminded her of somebody obsessed with SCA stuff to have built it. Oh well, it was better than being out in the woods.
Stepping inside, her new life begins...
Note: This character is essentially myself. Many people wonder about the fact she looks so young, but is in her 30s...yes, I'm like that. Got asked if I wanted a children's menu a little while ago! At a party just a few months ago, people thought I was a stray kid wandering around!
And yes, I have all those health problems, too... I didn't just slap together a bunch of frailties for a random character.
